Personal development is an interesting term

It means different things to different people. To me it means any activity that succeeds in creating a desired change in your sense of who you are and what you can do.

What is missing or holding you back from leading a truly wonderful life? I can help you build the confidence to take charge of your life and grow as a person - to know who you are, what you want and to go for it.

This could include increasing your self confidence, learning to relax - so that stress and anxiety completely disappear, accepting your own potential, meeting a challenge, overcoming unwanted emotions like anger, jealousy, depression or anxiety and stopping smoking, drinking and eating too much and other destructive behaviours. It can also include understanding what really matters to you, developing a clear vision of your future and concentrating on your strengths rather than continually criticising yourself.

Whatever You Want..

I describe what I do as coaching for personal development. I work with people to help them make sense of the world, explore who they are and to enhance their self confidence and self esteem. For many people there seems to be a trade-off between being successful and being yourself. Find a new way of looking at things that feels relaxed and natural.

Life Coaching

This type of personal development coaching has become popular in the last few years. I find it often works like this:

1) My client contacts me with an issue he or she wants to deal with.
2) We agree on specific goals and work together to create the desired changes. Depending on the nature of the changes required people tend to see me for between 3-6 sessions (some issues get resolved in one session).
3) My client enjoys the benefits of the changes. Then, later on, another challenge crops up.
4) We build on his or her skills and learning to deal with the new situation.
5) My client always knows that I'm ready to help and support them at any future time.
